SpendEase is a cross-border payment platform that enables users to:
- Send and receive money across African countries
- Hold multiple currencies in digital wallets
- Exchange currencies at competitive rates
- Make payments to businesses and individuals
3. Eligibility
To use SpendEase, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have legal capacity to enter into contracts
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not be prohibited from using financial services
4. Account Registration
To access our services, you must create an account by providing:
- Valid identification documents
- Proof of address
- Contact information
- Bank account or payment method details
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
5. Fees and Charges
SpendEase charges fees for certain services, including:
- Transaction fees for money transfers
- Currency conversion fees
- Premium service fees
All fees are clearly disclosed before you complete a transaction. We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with 30 days' notice.
6. Prohibited Activities
You may not use SpendEase to:
- Engage in illegal activities or money laundering
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Provide false or misleading information
- Interfere with the platform's security features
- Use the service for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Transfer funds to sanctioned individuals or entities
7. Transaction Limits
We may impose daily, monthly, or annual transaction limits based on your account verification level, transaction history, and regulatory requirements. These limits may be adjusted based on risk assessment and compliance needs.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute regarding a transaction:
- Contact our customer support within 60 days
- Provide all relevant transaction details
- Cooperate with our investigation process
We will investigate and resolve disputes in accordance with applicable laws and our internal procedures.
9. Liability and Disclaimers
SpendEase provides services "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by third-party service providers
- Currency fluctuations
- Technical issues beyond our control
- Indirect or consequential damages
10. Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in suspicious activities, or if required by law. We will provide notice when possible, except in cases involving security or legal concerns.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection laws.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of SpendEase after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
